Welcome to my “Super Shit U Should Know” column as Super Bowl XLVI is this Sunday from Indianapolis! I’m not gonna bore you with New York Giant or New England Patriot facts, hell no! I have THE important facts you need to know about the “Big Game”!!! Here we go …. One third of all U.S. adults have some type of wager on the game …. The game will bring over $150-million dollars into the local Indy economy …. According to the National Chicken Council, 1.25-billion chicken wings will be devoured on Sunday (that’s 100-million pounds of chicken) …. As shocking as it sounds, veggies are the top food item consumed during the game! …. According to the Nielson Company, nine out of ten people watch the game at a home and not at a sports bar …. Domino’s Pizza says it will deliver over 9-million pieces of pie on Sunday …. According to CheapHotels.com, numerous Indy hotels raised their room rates as much as 1,700% (a normal $39 per night room sold for $950 by the airport) …. During the game, people will consume 8.2-million pounds of tortilla chips …. 11.2-million pounds of potato chips …. 8-million pounds of guacamole …. 3.8-million pounds of popcorn …. 4.3-million pounds of pretzels …. 2.5-million pounds of peanuts and wash everything down with 51.7-million cases of beer! …. According to 7-11 Stores, the sales of antacid pills increase 20% the Monday after the Super Bowl! …. Last but not least, I am predicting the New York Giants to win the game by the score of 35-31 over the Pats in one of the most exciting Super Bowl games ever! Have a great weekend and GO GIANTS !!!!
