Lady Gaga became the first peson to have 20-million Twitter followers this weekend. Justin Bieber is second with 18-million people. It’s interesting to note that the top five Twitter leaders are all musicians …. Rock N’ Roll guitarist Ronnie Montrose passed away Saturday due to complications with prostate cancer. Montrose, 64, played with Van Morrison, Boz Scaggs, Edgar Winter and his own band (named after himself) that featured Sammy Hagar on lead vocals. Montrose did one of my favorite tunes, “Get On Your Bad Motor Scooter and Ride”. The rock world will miss him …. It’s was bad enough that Mother Nature knocked the shit out of the Midwest with tornados that killed 21 people in Kentucky, 13 in Indiana, 3 in Ohio, and one each in Alabama and Georgia, but now it’s snowing in those states! Damn it, when will the area catch a break? …. Mother Russia voters overwhelmingly voted Prime Minister Vladimir Putin a new six-year term as President. He led the country four years ago, named Dmitry Medvedev his successor, and now returns as the Soviet leader …. In sports last weekend Denny Hamlin won the NASCAR race in Arizona, the LA Lakers defeated the Miami Heat in the NBA game-of-the-week and MLB’s spring training is now in full swing! This week college basketball league tournaments start as March Madness gets into full swing! Damn, I love this time of the year! …. Have a wonderful day everybody!
