With the 28th Annual XRCO Adult Awards taking place tomorrow night in Hollywood, I felt this would be a good time to give all of you some recommendations on some award nominated films to check out, all of which I have reviewed in the past. So rather than a new review in our Movie Review section today, here are ten films that are certainly worth picking up and enjoying. These films are not listed in any particular order or genre, just a compilation of some of the best that are up for awards.
Rocki Whore Picture Show – Wicked Pictures - A great take off on the cult favorite with great songs, costumes, makeup and a standout cast that brings this long time favorite to a new XXX life.
Fighters – Digital Playground - A very strong dramatic feture that has everything including some exceptional fight scenes, great sex and tremendous acting by the entire cast.
Portrait of a Call Girl – Elegant Angel - Gritty, dark, mesmerizing and a tour de force by a brand new star, Jessie Andrews. Quite possibly the best film of the entire year.
Beverly Hillbillies XXX – X-Play/Adam & Eve - This is a spot on parody of the beloved TV series and is perfectly executed in every way. The cast and story make this feel like a lost episode of the show.
Taxi Driver XXX – Pleasure Dynasty - Another classic film given a straight dramatic parody that captures the original in every way. The acting is superb, the sex is hot and an award winning performance by Tommy Pistol.
Spider-Man XXX – Vivid Entertainment -One of the great comic heroes is given the perfect tribute in this exceptional film. From the sets, to costuming, to casting to the sex, this is a winner in every way.
Horizon – Wicked Pictures - Pure sci-fi in the XXX mold that captures the realism of what could happen on earth one day. Under brad Armstrong’s direction this feature is an edge of your seat production.
Rocky XXX – X-Play/Adam & Eve - This film is more of a tribute than a parody and follows the original storyline. The cast is magnificent, the fight scenes are choreographed exceptionally well and the acting is well crafted.
This Ain’t Ghostbusters XXX 3D – Hustler Video - Take a popular mainstream film put it in 3D and the result is one great production. The cast, the sex, the effects and the 3D make this one a film to definitely see.
Reservoir Doggs XXX – Exquisite Films -Switching the main roles from male to female gives this parody and entirely different look, but it is even more edgy and dramatic with some great sex scenes and top of the mark acting performances.
So there you have ten films that are up for awards tomorrow night, that I highly recommend for your viewing pleasure. As I have said before, this past year brought out some very exceptional, very well produced, very well acted and directed films that the industry has seen. These are just ten of them, so enjoy them as all these films have much to offer both from a sex and entertainment standpoint.
