Due to increasingly lax marijuana laws in California the latest craze is pot infused wine! Wine makers are putting a pound of pot into a fermenting cask of vino. That puts 1.5-grams of weed per bottle of wine. I don’t think the pot will make the wine taste better but I guess it will give the drinker a better, faster buzz …. Valley Meat Company in New Mexico is negotiating with the Food Safety & Inspection Service about selling horse meat to eat. Valley Meat is a horse slaughterhouse and thinks eating horses is a good idea. I guess when you step back and look at everything, we do eat cows, pigs and buffalo. Why not horse meat? …. Yesterday more than 100 tornadoes touched down in the midwest during a 24-hour period. Twisters tossed around vehicles and ripped apart homes in multiple states. The town of Thurman, Iowa had 75-90 percent of its homes damaged or destroyed. A new “early warning” system saved numerous lives …. The weekend in sports featured NHL Hockey playoffs with the Philadelphia Flyers taking a 3-0 lead on the Pittsburgh Penquins and the LA Kings doing the same against #1 seeded Vancouver Canucks. Greg Biffle won the Samsung Mobile 500 NASCAR race in Fort Worth, TX and Carl Pettersson won the PGA Tour stop in Hilton Head, SC ….
