Everybody knows “SpongeBob SquarePants” ! That is a huge understatement as Viacom announced that SpongeBob is responsible for 31% of Nickelodeon’s total programming! While that is a shocking statistic, reruns of SpongeBob, Patrick and the rest of the Bikini Bottom crew have hurt the channel’s bottom line as the show is actually down 29% this year. The pros are saying Viacom got lazy, saved a few bucks by not producing new programs and the reruns have just stopped keeping kids attention …. A tea cup and saucer used by Lady Gaga sold for $75,137 at a Japanese auction yesterday. The china, which features Gaga’s lipstick print also came with an autograph. The package attracted more than 1,300 bids and the money will be donated to young Japanese artists who want to study in the USA …. Las Vegas is having an upsurge! The all-important RevPAR (Revenue per available room) number is up 4% when compared to last year and the convention calendar is booked solid the rest of the year …. A new study predicts that 42% of all Americans will be classified as obese by the year 2030, with 11% projected as severly obese. An example of being obese is a person who stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 186 pounds. A severly obese person standing 5’6″ would weigh 248 pounds. Still want that double cheeseburger for lunch?…. Last but not least, Tonight is the final of “The Voice” and somebody is going to win $100,000 and a record contract. The show airs on NBC tonight at 9:00pm EDT. I’m persoanlly rooting for Juliet Simms as she is a Tampa Bay raised girl! … Have a great day everybody!
