Only two more installments to go before we complete our list of the Top 50 Porn Classics of All Time. So far we have had a very wide variety from every decade from toe 1970′s right through to the 2000′s. Over that 40 year period there have been some great films that didn’t make the list but were still worthy of being classics in adult. This was not an easy list to compile and took a lot of research, a lot of soul searching and a lot of viewing before I could compile the entire list.
In this grouping, in alphabetical order as always, we have two from the 70′s, one from the 80′s, one from the 90′s and one from the 2000′s. Once again I hope for those you who are adult film buffs, that you are printing out each week’s listing for future reference.
Cafe Flesh – 1982 – This was a film that broke new ground and really shook up the film world. It was a film that had a real plot, story line, excellent acting performances and sexual scenes that had everything, even some scenes that might not be your cup of tea. But still it is the story that carries this film and makes it a classic. It is five years after a nuclear apocalypse. The survivors are a group thrill seekers looking for some pleasure and kicks. But now this is a world destroyed and 99%T are Sex Negatives. They want to make love, have enjoyable sex but the mere touch of another person makes them violently ill. The lucky one percent, are Sex Positives, those whose libidos escaped unscathed and can love, perform while others can only watch at Cafe Flesh.
Fashionistas – 2002 – Her’s another film the broke barriers, created something totally new, different, off the wall and captured the adult viewing public with a multi award winning production that raised the bat considerably. Created by John Stagliano and starring BellaDonna and Rocco Siffredi, it is a plunge into the world of fetishism and definitely not for prudes. The sexual scenes may, to some, be disturbing as this production plays with your physiological senses as much as your sexual senses. The entire production is filled with exotic and erotic costuming, colors, lighting and will take you to another level in sexuality. This production became such a bit hit, a musical version of it even played in Las Vegas for a time to critical acclaim. Definitely a film that will be a classic that is remembered years from now.
Mary, Mary – 1977 – Another of the plot driven great films from the 1970′s it stars the late John Leslie, Constance money and Rene Bond. It is the story of a man (Leslie) who suffers from premature ejaculation. He sells his soul to the Devil to acquire a powerful aphrodisiac that will solve the problem. However, now with this new sexual power he can never say no, can never stop and wants to just be normal. But the Devil seeing what has become of him gets jealous of what he did for him and take matters into his own hands and Constance Money shows the devil just what everything is really about. Great performances, steamy sex and a classic many have forgotten about and shouldn’t.
Shayla’s Web – 1999 – With Micheal Ninn at the helm as writer and director you know you will be taken into a world of fantasy that many think of but never live out. The film stars Shayla LaVeaux, Mickey G. and an upcoming star named jessica drake. The storyline is interesting as it is about John, a guy who is an admitted cyber junkie when it comes to porn. He has maxed out his credit cards, about to be evicted. What he doesn’t know is that he actually part of an experiment being done by a large internet company Luxus Flux, the internet’s star is his cyber love and object of desire. Another thing he is not aware of during this experiment is that as this internet web is drawn over him Luxus is the only one who can save him from this drowning in the cyber sex world. But will she? A very intricate, interesting film with loads of facials, loads of deep thrusting sex and loads of pleasure to enjoy in this classic.
Wet Rainbow – 1974 - Two of the biggest stars of the time, Georgina Spelvin and Harry Reems star in this well done film as husband and wife. He is a college professor and she is an artist. But their happy life starts to fall apart when a student sends Reems a nude photo of herself and makes no bones about the fact that she wants the professor. Georgina of course gets jealous, but she strangely finds herself becoming enamored with this student named Rainbow. Soon they are both drawn into this very sexual and open young girl’s life and discover a new world of passion, lust, sexual liberation and pleasure. The role of Rainbow was played by Valeria Marron and the entire production was a well structured study in love and intimacy. This is a classic to not be missed.
