Republican National Convention
The Republician National Convention is not only the place where the Republican Party selects its candidate it’s a full-fledged music concert series! Here are a few of the acts that are booked for Tampa August 26-31: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Trace Adkins, Kid Rock, Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker and Journey (to name a few). Most of these concerts are private and invitation only!

Yes, Calvin Broadus told reporters he had a cultural and spiritual rebirth while working on his new album “Reincarnated” and needs to change his name to reflect the “Rastafari” in himself … take another hit Snoop, you need it!
The US Census Bureau listed the ten most “empty” cities in America based on vacant homes and rentals: 10) Toledo, OH, 9) Tampa, FL, 8) Houston, TX, 7) Atlanta, GA, 6) Las Vegas, NV, 5) Richmond, VA, 4) Detroit, MI, 3) Memphis, TN, 2) Dayton, OH and 1) Orlando, FL … I guess the economy is still sucking everywhere east of the Mississippi River!
Three US Airways jets avoided mid-air collisions by seconds yesterday around 2:00 pm in the Washington DC area. Two outbound jets were cleared for take off directly into an incoming flight. A storm was quickly approaching and air traffic controllers almost made a disasterous mistake. At the last second the landing jet was told to veer off and circle the airport, avoiding the crash.
Last but not least, NBC has said they will break even on its London, England Olympic coverage. It was stated earlier the network could lose up to $200-million. NBC paid $1.2-billion for the rights to show the games.
