Robby D. has a knack for giving the viewer features that have a lot of action and sex. He also has a way of creating a story and plot that can play with your mind complete with unexpected twists and turns making his features ones to look forward to. Such is the case here with this Stoya headliner from Robby D. and Digital Playground. A good story and plot, twists and turns, decent acting, some real cum dripping sex scenes and a good cast of performers.

The story is about Stoya house sitting for a friend, creating a perfect way to avoid an ex boyfriend (Erik Everhard). But he follows her and worms his way back into her life. He is an extremely jealous guy and it comes to a head when James Deen, a security guard on the property, comes into the picture. But there is more to Deen than meets the eye. He does hook up with Stoya and his true colors eventually come out. Deen’s buddies, Tommy Gunn and Bill Bailey know what he’s really about and are part of his plan. It is an interesting story that keeps your attention as you wonder just what the final outcome will be, especially for Stoya.

The film opens with Stoya arriving at the house, seeing the note left for her and then being surprised by Deen who isn’t aware of who she is. She explains things, sending Deen is on his way. The ex shows up, sweet talks her and that leads to the first sex scene in the living room that has passion and intensity. Meantime Deen is in his room and a visit by Tommy Gunn wanting to know the plan gets Deen mad as we begin to see his other side start to seep out. Tommy joins Bill and the two gals they have with them, Adrianna Luna and Karina White, leading right into the next sex scene as Tommy and Karina go at it and Bill and Adrianna do their thing. The next morning Deen, in his mild and friendly persona, comes by to check on Stoya and then later becomes more friendly as he takes her in the living room in an all out sex scene. Deen sees his friend Bill with Tasha Reign. Not liking this, he takes her into another room and lets his aggressiveness come out as he pounds her in every way he can. The kind, friendly, mild security guard is no more and leads to the finale.  How it all ends? I will leave you to see for yourself.

Very well done feature with a good story, plot and performances. Excellent settings and surroundings and top notch production values abound. The cinematography captures the tenseness of the scenes and the sexual heat that is displayed. Another top quality effort from Robby D. and the folks at Digital Playground and deserving of our Friday Five Star Feature of the Week. This is one definitely worth having in your library.

The month of May, thus far, has been quite a month. New hot releases, surprising and not so surprising announcements, and just a potpourri of happenings in the world of adult.

So far some of the releases that have hit the store shelves is the fun parody “Karate Kid XXX” starring Tommy Pistol, Evan Stone and Diana Prince. Check out our review of this fun film here on AAN. It’s a fun film and again shows the range of both Pistol and Stone when it comes to their acting abilities. There is also a funny cameo in the film by Ron Jeremy just to add to the humor.

There is also the film that everyone has been waiting for, Ironman XXX from the brilliant mind of Axel Braun. It will hit the stores May 21^st and will be a very fast seller. I’ve done a preview review of this five star gem, so check it out. It is everything, and more, that you would expect in a Braun super hero parody. It will certainly appeal to true Ironman fans in every way.

Then there was the announcement that Porn’s Punk Princess, Joanna Angel will be making her mainstream debut. This will be in a film called “Scrapper” that debuts at the Seattle Film Festival May 21 -22. Joanna plays a key role in the film that stars Micheal Beach of “Sons of Anarchy”. This is an important move not only for Joanna, but also could serve as a future door opener for other adult stars who have the acting skills to do more in mainstream. We wish the best for Joanna and hope this is the breakthrough for her and other adult performers where mainstream is concerned.

There was also the announcement of not one, but two, performers deciding to retire from adult films, Melina Mason and Brooklyn Lee. Ms. Mason burst on the scene in 2012 and was quickly up for Best New Starlet nominations and in demand for films. She said that while she enjoyed her time, the work overwhelmed her. She also admits she wasn’t prepared on how to handle all that went with it. But she is now going to be in the vending machine business and also owns a seafood company in New York as well as an apartment complex in northern California. So it looks like Melina’s short burst of fame has turned in a solid after porn business life and we wish her well.

Also announcing her retirement from the business was the very popular, very busy, very much awarded Brooklyn Lee. In a post she made after word came out, she said, In her post, “Also, yes, I have retired. Off to other things and greener pastures. It’s time for me to focus on the bigger picture; my education. Just going to school & being me. All is well…the adult industry is simply no longer a place I belong or wish to be.” In just three short years Lee climbed to the top as an in demand performer for everything from gonzo features to parodies, dramatic roles and more. She was a very well rounded performer besides being one of the most sexual women in XXX film. She will be missed and we wish her well in her future endeavors away from the adult film world.

James Deen

In the month of May, Evil Angel announced it had signed male superstar James Deen to a contract as a director for the company. Aside from starring in movies, winning a passel of awards, he has been very busy on the speaking circuit appearing at various colleges talking about the adult industry. Deen, who can do just about any kind of role, will release his first title for Evil Angel in July. Titled “James Deen Love Butts” it will star, among others, Dana DeArmond. So now in addition to all his other titles and duties you can add the title of film director to Deen’s expanding credits.

We’re just at the halfway point of the month of May, but it has already been filled with some exciting, and surprising news. What’s in store for the rest of the month? A lot more to look forward to with more new parody releases and more top quality films for everyone’s taste and who knows what else may take place.

Adult Film Star turned successful stand up comedian Kurt Lockwood has proven himself in the stand-up comedy circuit, and now this Friday night May 17th Lockwood will be the featured comic of the night when he takes the mic at The M Bar 1253 Vine Street in Hollywood. Joining Lockwood onstage that night are notable comedians; Brian Kiley and David Feldman Lockwood will be going on around 10pm.

” I’m looking forward to Friday night’s gig at The M Bar, and I’m thankful for being named the featured comedian of the night. I really love doing stand-up comedy, of course I’m paying my dues now, and there’s good nights and bad nights, but the majority of the time the response has been really great, and I’m learning and growing as a comedian. Every crowd is different, and I love getting out there and making them laugh, and I’m working on new material every week. ,” said Lockwood.

Lockwood has also started a new sex column in his hometown paper in Baltimore, which will premiere next Wednesday.
