Another hot, exciting, , fun element has been added to the comic book superhero parody. With the release of “Birds of Prey” from Rob Black's Sinister X Syndicate, we get the chance to watch, enjoy and get turned on by a group of female superheroes ready to save Gotham from disaster. The group is led by Barbara Gordon, the commissioner's daughter, who once was Batgirl.
After being shot by the Joker, and now confined to a wheelchair, she has to create a new facade and becomes The Oracle, a woman of genius status. She forms her all female unit called the “Birds” and is ready to make sure that Gotham City is safe. Brooklyn Lee plays the role with total conviction. Kagney Linn Karter plays the Black Canary, the Oracle's top field agent. We also get to find out later in the film who the Black Canary's father really is. Also staring in this action and sex packed parody are Gracie Glam who is the vigilante Huntress. Lizzy Borden returns to the screen as Talia Al Ghul the “Birds” biggest nemesis in a very “sinister” (pun intended) role. The doctors at the Asylum are played by Chanel Preston and Alexis Texas and not all as innocent as they may appear. Veteran porn legend Tom Byron takes on the role of Commissioner Gordon.
I can tell you that along with the strong story line and the great performances by the entire cast, that the action sequences and the stunts, are very well done with mainstream quality. There is so much in this film to like besides the sexy girls, the spandex, the looks and the steamy sex scenes that are interspersed in this film. This is another of those top notch parodies where, while the viewer wants to see the hardcore sex, there is so much more to go with it to make it a total entertainment package. When it comes to the sex scenes and having girls like Brooklyn, Alexis, Kagney, Gracie and the others, plus studs like Tommy Gunn, Alec Knight, etc. trust me when I say the sex scenes smoke and literally boil over! There is an all girl scene with Lizzy, Chanel and Alexis that is off the charts!
The film has a dark, ominous opening to introduce a couple of the characters and also a flashback of Barbara Gordon getting shot by the Joker before the opening credits roll. The music is perfect for the film and various sequences, the camera work and lighting are perfectly done adding to the overall dramatic look of the film. There are several standout performances that are nom worthy, led by Lizzy Borden who is sheer perfection in her villainous role. The entire movie has pre nom written all over it in a number of categories. In addition this is a 3 disc set with great extras and packaging that is unique and top shelf. It is a five star effort that you should make sure you have.
